I am the original sculptor for the ladies (from Parker-Levi molds) Lois, Cyrene, Eulane, Mary Katherine, and Marie. They were named for my mother (Cyrene) and her sisters. My mother and her sister, Mary Katherine are the only ones living now and are are quite elderly. After viewing dolls made from our molds for so many years it is rare to see them depicted with such elegance.

An Important Business Update. September 2012

 It is with the deepest regrets and the greatest reluctance that due to continuing health problems we are closing down a large part of the cottage. It has been a fantastic 10 years and one I will always treasure. I was devastated when I had to give up teaching but now realise it was meant to be or I wouldn’t have had such a wonderful time at the cottage and made such wonderful friends who have given me so much support and friendship.

One of the areas of the cottage I truly valued was the haberdashery and silks. I have sewn for most of my life and I know you all treasured the presentation of fabrics and specialist advice we supplied and I am pleased you found it useful over the years. However, this is the large area which I must discontinue as it has been quite a struggle to maintain it to the standard I feel you deserve, especially with health problems these past three years in particular. It is very demanding. Therefore, all fabrics, laces and trims will be discontinued once current stocks are depleted. We do have plenty of everything at the moment and will do our best to make sure if you really need something, we will get it for you if possible or send you in the right direction - so hang on to your Tussie Mussies!!

 What will continue

Over the years I have realised that mostly you seem to have enjoyed my projects and gown patterns. So health permitting and I know it has been a year since any have appeared in magazines and almost a year since Snow Queen was started - and she is still coming!!, I hope to be able to continue with this work and all the salon miniatures which go with it - perfumes, accessories and the fabric packs to make the gowns - just as we did for Kate’s wedding dress. If I can keep this going I think it will bring the most pleasure. I may even be able to finish that next book - fingers crossed. I also will be discontinuing the general miniatures by other artists.

Please be assured that nothing else will change and I will always be here for you as long as I possibly can. You can still call me and e-mail me for advice or a chat and rely on me to bring you the creations you have all come to cherish and hopefully with more time to do this, I can spend the time I am able to work, dedicating it fully to miniature creations. Please give me a little while to change all the web site accordingly and look out for many end of range bargains. Once again, I want to thank you all so much for your valued custom, support and  friendship and hope you all look forward to a time of change which will benefit us all.
