There’s always new ideas and themes presenting themselves at the Enchanted Cottage. No time for standing still and supplying the same old same old. We are beginning this new and exciting era with something which has been on our minds for some time but as life happened and the Tussie Mussie in particular was delayed following a year of illness and the loss of the motherboard with much of the Tussie lost with it, we had to fulfill all our Tussie commitments first. Over 120 of these wonderful brochures have now been sent and they have been so well received. Compliments have poured in and even congratulations that we managed to keep going and get there in the end. It was a mammoth venture but so worth it. Thank you also to everyone who has contacted the cottage to compliment the new dressmaking designs. Cinderella and our new Wisteria certainly had the phone ringing off the hook and we are delighted you have enjoyed them so much. Just finishing Kate’s wedding gown at the moment and starting a new mini series in three parts: How to drape fabrics on seated and reclined figures. The first looks at the reclined figure - Sleeping Beauty in a Renaissance gown on a beautiful half tester fairytale bed, a seated Edwardian lady and a Medieval lady riding side saddle on horseback. Hope you will enjoy these in future issues of the DHMS magazine very soon. Kate and Sleeping Beauty both follow Wisteria.
